Following this incident, Bumrah dismissed Konstas’ opening partner Usman Khawaja, which led to a display of aggression from the Indian pacer, prompting Kohli to get involved too.
The drama unfolded on the second-to-last delivery of the day when Khawaja took a moment to settle in at the striker’s end, disrupting Bumrah’s rhythm. However, Konstas, at the non-striker’s end, decided to chime in with a few words directed at Bumrah, which only served to agitate the bowler.

After claiming the wicket, Bumrah charged towards Konstas at the non-striker’s end as part of his celebration. Kohli, known for his passionate demeanor, sprinted in from the slip cordon, seemingly confronting Konstas as well.
